Hi!
My name is Tomas Kibsgaard Larsen, and I am a Norwegian photographer currently living in Trondheim. I am a second year student at Norwegian School of Photography (Norsk Fotofagskole) I have always loved taking pictures, but started to think about it as a career as I was more likely to bring my camera than my skates to the local skate park. I was currently studying to become an electrician, but wanted to try photography, and went to a folkehøyskole (college without any formal education) for a year, and decided that I was never going back. After that, I got in at the Norwegian School of Photography, and I am hoping to move to New York after I am done in Trondheim.
If you asked me when i was starting out, witch genre in photography I was attracted to, it would be action photography (specifically Skating and Snowboard) , but as I have opened my eyes to different genres in photography, I am now more and more attracted to portraits and fashion. I just like the freedom of the fashion genre, and the personalities I get to meet while taking portraits, but I still love to meet some of my old skating friends and take some pictures.
